Ngā mihi o te tau hou koutou katoa 2023

Anei ngā whakaritenga mō timatanga o te tau

Kia ora whanau, we hope you have all had an enjoyable Christmas and New Years!

We have a few messages for the start of the school year.

Office opening hours - The school office will be open from next Monday 23rd January, 10am - 2pm for enrolments or any other enquiries.

Please come directly to the office as we have contractors onsite. If you need assistance before then please feel free to email chanelle@kaikohewest.school.nz.

Enrolment process - We have changed the way we do enrolments. Every whanau will now need to have a 10-15 minute meeting with the principal before children are enrolled. You can collect an enrolment form and we will give you a time for your meeting or try to fit it in on the day, your child will then start school on the following day.

Start date - Thursday 2nd February at 8.50am.

Stationery - Free.

No school uniform.

Powhiri - We will be holding a powhiri on the first day of school to welcome everyone back but also to welcome any new whanau/staff we have joining the school. This will be at Tawaraunui and will kick off at 9am. Nau mai, Haere mai.

School lunches - We will be supplied by Subway 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). Tuesday and Thursday kai is made onsite by lunch staff. If your child has any dietary requirements please let us know.
